There he met a fellow bartender from Catalina Island, California, just off the coast of Los Angeles. Negotiations ensued. Mark agreed to secure a Montana bartending job for his new friend in exchange for a bartending job on the Island. Now Mark's a Catalina fixture, known for his expressive songwriting and raw emotional vocal performances. Adventuring to Hollywood, Mark met music producer Tommy Reeves.
